This project was completed by Livingston Slone, Inc., which merged with Nvision Architecture, Inc., in early 2020.

The Yuut Elitnaurviat, or The People’s Learning Center, was designed to increase educational and employment opportunities for Alaska Native residents of the Yukon Kuskokwim Region. This residential campus includes five buildings: a construction trades building; an administrative, classroom, and student services (TESS) building; two 22-bed dormitories; and a 68-bed dormitory. A Phase 2 addition has been designed for the TESS building to include an Early Childhood Education program, an expansion of the Dental Health Aide Therapy Program, a Community Health Aide Program, and an Adult Education Program. Phase 2 construction is on-hold pending funding. The original Master Plan and all facilities were planned and designed by Livingston Slone.
