Anchorage Neighborhood Health Clinic

Anchorage Neighborhood Health Clinic

Summary

This project was completed by Livingston Slone, Inc., which merged with Nvision Architecture, Inc., in early 2020.

The new Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center was designed to consolidate previously separate clinical and administrative spaces under one roof. The project also enabled the expansion and growth of medical, dental, pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology programs. The resulting forty-five exam, procedure, and consultation rooms are divided into three service pods. Each pod is centered around a glass-enclosed team center for visual control and privacy for staff. Pods house a dental clinic, mammography, medical laboratory, and a pharmacy. Third-floor administrative offices contain meeting, conference, and classroom spaces for health education classes. Over the course of ten years, Livingston Slone provided site selection, funding support, master planning, and design.
