Summary

The new myHealth Clinic is a 5,800 SF health center located in South Anchorage. The clinic consists of 12 exam rooms, a procedure room, three provider offices, one psychologist’s office, a small laboratory, a waiting room/reception area, public restroom facilities, and an employee lounge with private restroom and shower. Nvision paid especially close attention to the importance of flow and adjacencies during the design process. The new space provides an unfolding of public access, privacy, visual comfort, and programmatic fluidity, all beginning with the translucent, welcoming front entry, lobby, and waiting area. While working within defined programmatic requirements and budgetary restrictions, and accommodating site constraints due to the proximity of nearby streets and buildings, Nvision designed an efficient and engaging facility that meets the needs of myHealth Clinic’s patients and providers.
