Anchorage Comprehensive Treatment Center Tenant Improvement
Nvision assessed the needs of CRC Health and the future patients of this unique opioid addiction treatment center in order to adapt the existing configurations to meet expected requirements. The intent was to create a warm, nurturing, and welcoming space. Design considerations included HIPPA strategies for privacy, long-term patient recovery, and short-term success in patient return rates. Security considerations included nurse and staff safety, pharmaceutical management, lines of site, door swing direction, door hardware controls, and camera locations. While the primary entrance to the clinic is discreet, it opens to a large, welcoming waiting area with warm architectural finishes and daylighting. A separate visitors’ waiting area is provided for those supporting patient recovery. The floor plan and circulation were arranged to meet the varying needs of the center and the specifications of this nationally-owned treatment center.
